Born In Bogotá Colombia, Santiago Began His Musical Career as a dance music composer/producer at the young age of 16. At the same time he began performing as a dj within his local scene in Colombia. Santiago’s natural talent got him to sign his first production only a few years from his start on Miami’s Seductive Records. Shortly after in 2004/2005 he began getting opportunities to let his work be known to the entire world, signing works to world-class labels such as Baroque, Lost Language, Aurium, and Armada among others.

He began his career influenced heavily by hard techno sounds but as he matured he began sophisticating his sound with intriguing melodies and tight effects. For the past few years his tracks have been used by the most important djs around the globe during their live sets and known radio show’s such as A State of Trance, Global DJ Broadcast, Vonyc Sessions, and The Essential Mix on Radio 1. Some of Santiago’s productions can be spotted in compilations like ‘’Politics of Dancing 2’’ by Paul Van Dyk, Miami 05 by Markus Schulz, A State of Trance 2005 by Armin van Buuren, among many others.

In late 2005 Santiago also founded his own record label alongside the Istmo Music group called Dub Tech Recordings, and launched it with enormous success with “Strange Candy EP”. Also on Dub Tech Recordings he launched “Subway Myth EP” and ‘’Moog Mood EP’’ which where chart toppers during 2006, gaining diverse support from the likes of PVD, Sander Van Doorn, Ozgur Can, and Albert Vorne amongst many others.  

On the djing side the young Colombian had shared turntables with world class djs like Mauro Picotto, Dj Preach, and Martin Roth, Paul Van Dyk, & Markus Schulz.  In 2006 Santiago went on tour with Paul Van Dyk on the highly successful “Vonyc Sessions World Tour”.      Santiago is considered by many respected figures as a 'future favorite', there is no doubt that Santiago Nino will continue to produce quality music for years to come.  His first album, to be named “Danceversify”, is due in April of 2007.  It will include highly acclaimed singles like the collaboration with Giuseppe Ottaviani “Beyond your Thoughts”, and “Red Sky” in coolaboration with Damien Heck featuring the beautifull voice of Antonia Luccas.  The mix of diversified dance tracks on this album will demonstrate his vast musical talent by exploring into many of dance-music’s different “sub-genres”, while still maintaining his own sound. It will surely take the world by storm!
